WOMAD Drummers

Some of the students who at tended the mid-week WOMAD taiko Drummers workshop with the Australian drum group, TaikOz.  They used the free passes they received and participated in the drum parade on WOMAD Sunday.  They did a great job and had a lot of fun.  Well done everyone.

Americarna II

Our first attempt this year at a bit of Green Screen Magic!  We need a bit of work on our acting though…..

Americarna 2015

Americarna hit the roads of Opunake today.  Over 700 vintage, classic and modern American made cars found their way to Opunake's Event Centre as part of their round the mountain ride.  We all went down to take a look at these 'AWESOME' cars.  We then went back to school and used the photos we took to produce some great pieces of 'Digital Art,' Newsclip footage and used iMovie to produce reviews of the day.  These great projects will be published to our blogs soon.

PRIDE Day 2015

We had our Schoolwide PRIDE Day last Friday (30/1/15).  As a school we were split into PRIDE teams and participated in problem solving and team building activities.  We had a great day completing the different activities!

2014 Moa Awards Highlights

Here is a highlight video from the MOA Awards made by Sonic Vision Studios.

"The 2014 Moa Awards were held on November 11th at the Sandfords Event Center Opunake. I had the privilege of putting the show together and so created a MTV styled Awards Show. Created the Transformers intro and put Mt Taranaki in the shot with Optimus Prime (At the end)."

Our School - Close Up!
